CHILDREN’S COLTALIN® (Pediatric Compound Paracetamol and Phenylephrine Tablets) is an OTC combination medicine used to relieve fever, headache, body aches, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and sore throat associated with the common cold and influenza in children. It may also be used for symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
- Mechanism: Paracetamol provides antipyretic and analgesic effects; phenylephrine relieves nasal congestion through vasoconstriction; chlorpheniramine blocks peripheral H₁ receptors to reduce allergic symptoms; vitamin B₁ serves as a nutritional supplement.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 1–2.5 tablets according to age and body weight.
Time: Every 4–6 hours as needed; maximum 4 doses in 24 hours.
Instructions for use: May be chewed, swallowed, or dissolved in water or fruit juice. Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing medicines.
Interaction: Avoid concomitant use with other antipyretic/analgesic cold medicines. Consult a physician or pharmacist before using with other medicines.
Side effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, sweating, and rash may occur. Excessive use may cause severe liver injury.
