NBP® is a prescription neuroprotective agent indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate acute ischemic stroke.
- Mechanism: Butylphthalide improves cerebral microcirculation, protects mitochondrial function, reduces oxidative stress, and inhibits neuronal apoptosis following cerebral ischemia.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: The recommended dose is 0.2 g (2 capsules) three times daily for 20 days.
Time: Take orally on an empty stomach before meals. Start treatment as early as possible after stroke onset.
Instructions for use: Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not chew or open the capsules.
Interaction: Use with caution when combined with antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, or other hepatically metabolized drugs.
Side effects: Common adverse reactions include elevated liver enzymes, nausea, abdominal discomfort, dizziness, rash, and headache.
