 Indication & Scope

Sorafenib Tosylate Tablets (Nexavar®) is dual multi-target kinase inhibitor. It inhibits Raf serine/threonine kinase and VEGFR/PDGFR tyrosine kinases, suppresses tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis to restrain tumor growth.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: 0.4g (2 tablets) orally twice daily, taken without food at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, Reduce to 0.4g once daily or suspend medication for severe toxic reactions

 

Time: Continuous administration until disease progression or intolerable adverse reactions

 

Interaction: Avoid strong CYP3A4 inducers/inhibitors; monitor coagulation function if combined with warfarin

 

Side effects: Hand-foot skin reaction, diarrhea, rash, fatigue, hypertension, alopecia; severe risks: hemorrhage, gastrointestinal perforation, cardiac ischemia, liver damage

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
