Indication & Scope
Oxaliplatin for Injction (Eloxatin®), 3rd-gen DACH platinum chemo, crosslinks tumor DNA to suppress replication and trigger apoptosis. It has minimal renal/ototoxicity, superior anti-colorectal activity and distinctive cold-induced neuropathy vs cisplatin/carboplatin.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: 85mg/m² iv infusion over 2 hours, once every 2 weeks; adjuvant treatment for up to 12 cycles; metastatic patients use until disease progression or intolerable toxicity; dilute only with 5% glucose injection, infuse before fluoropyrimidines
Time: Biweekly chemotherapy cycle; avoid cold food, cold water and cold contact during treatment
Interaction: Incompatible with normal saline & alkaline solution (5-FU); synergistic anti-tumor effect with fluoropyrimidines
Side effects: Cold-induced peripheral sensory neuropathy (dose-limiting toxicity), mild myelosuppression, nausea/vomiting, hypersensitivity reactions, liver sinusoidal injury
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
