Indication & Scope

Raceanisodamine Tablets (MinSheng®) are Class A OTC peripheral anti-M cholinergic antispasmodic plain tablets, used to relieve abdominal pain from gastrointestinal and biliary smooth muscle spasm, with typical anticholinergic side effects and specific contraindications.

Mechanism
Blocks peripheral M cholinergic receptors, relaxes over-contracted visceral smooth muscle, relieves smooth muscle spasm pain and improves microcirculation, with little central nervous system effect

How to use ?

Recommended Dose:Adults: 5–10mg orally, 3 times daily,Children: 0.1–0.2mg/kg orally, 3 times daily

Time: Take orally before meals as needed; do not overuse, stop when symptoms improve. Avoid alcohol and irritant food during medication.

Interaction: It may strengthen side effects when combined with other anticholinergics or tricyclic antidepressants, and may affect the efficacy of gastric medicines; avoid alcohol.

Side effects: Common dry mouth, flushing, blurred near vision, tachycardia and dysuria (usually resolve quickly); overdose may cause anticholinergic toxicity. Contraindicated in glaucoma, BPH, urinary retention, acute cerebral hemorrhage, hemorrhagic diseases and hypersensitivity.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
