ZhengChangSheng® (Bacillus Licheniformis Capsule, Live) are indicated for acute and chronic enteritis and diarrhea caused by bacterial or fungal infections. They may also be used for the prevention and management of gastrointestinal microbiota dysbiosis caused by other factors.
- Mechanism: Bacillus licheniformis is a spore-forming probiotic microorganism that can survive passage through the gastrointestinal tract and contribute to restoration of intestinal microbial balance. It may inhibit the growth of certain harmful microorganisms and support normalization of intestinal function.
- Drug class: Probiotic; live bacterial preparation; intestinal microbiota-regulating agent.
- Clinical use: Adjunctive management of diarrhea, enteritis, and gastrointestinal microbiota dysbiosis associated with various causes.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Adults: 2 capsules per dose; children: 1 capsule per dose, three times daily. The initial dose may be doubled.
Time: Take orally at regular intervals.
Instructions for use: Swallow the capsule with water. For individuals who have difficulty swallowing, the capsule may be opened and the contents mixed with water or milk at a temperature not exceeding 40°C. Do not expose the live bacterial preparation to high temperatures.
Interaction: Antibiotics may inhibit or destroy the live bacteria and should generally be administered separately. Adsorbent medicines such as tannic acid preparations, bismuth preparations, and medicinal charcoal may reduce the availability of the live bacteria and should be taken separately.
Side effects: Constipation may occur occasionally. Other significant adverse reactions have not been clearly established.
