YiPeiSheng® Inpegsomatropin Injection provides long-term treatment of growth retardation caused by growth hormone deficiency in children aged 3 years and older.
- Mechanism: Long-acting pegylated recombinant human growth hormone. It binds growth hormone receptors in the liver and bone tissue, promotes insulin-like growth factor 1 secretion, stimulates bone epiphyseal cartilage proliferation to accelerate linear growth in children.
- Drug class: Long-acting recombinant growth hormone, injectable pediatric prescription biologic medicine.
- Clinical use: Once-weekly replacement therapy for pediatric growth hormone deficiency to improve annual height growth velocity.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Weight-adjusted fixed dose injected subcutaneously once every 7 days.
Time: Regular weekly subcutaneous injection at consistent intervals for long-term continuous treatment.
Instructions for use: Rotate abdominal, thigh and upper arm injection sites weekly; regular monitoring of height, IGF-1 levels and bone age every 3 months.
Interaction: Glucocorticoids suppress growth-promoting effects of somatropin, dose adjustment is required for combined use.
Side effects: Mild injection site swelling, headache, transient joint pain, peripheral edema; rare hyperglycemia.
