Indication & Scope
YiKeTie® (Dexamethasone Acetate Oral Adhesive Patches) is indicated for the treatment of non-infectious oral mucosal ulcers. The product provides localized corticosteroid therapy at the ulcer site to reduce inflammation, swelling, and associated discomfort.
- Mechanism: Dexamethasone acetate is a glucocorticoid that suppresses local inflammatory and immune responses, reduces vascular permeability, and helps relieve inflammatory swelling and discomfort at the ulcer site.
- Drug class: Glucocorticoid; topical oral anti-inflammatory and antiallergic agent.
- Clinical use: Local treatment of non-infectious oral mucosal ulcers. It should not be used alone for infectious oral ulcers.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Apply 1 patch to the affected area at a time, with a maximum of 3 patches per day. Continuous use should not exceed 7 days.
Time: Preferably apply before bedtime. The patch may remain attached to the ulcer site for an extended period.
Instructions for use: Wash hands before use. Moisten the non-medicated side of the patch with a small amount of saliva or water, then gently apply the medicated side directly to the oral ulcer. For local oral use only; do not swallow intentionally.
Interaction: Patients using other medicines should consult a physician or pharmacist before using this product. Avoid concomitant use with other topical oral corticosteroid preparations unless medically advised.
Side effects: Occasional allergic reactions such as rash may occur. Prolonged or extensive use may increase the risk of corticosteroid-related systemic effects, while frequent use may cause local oral irritation or secondary fungal infection.
