TeYi® (Zhikebao Tablets) is an over-the-counter traditional Chinese medicine used to disperse the lung, resolve phlegm, relieve cough, and alleviate wheezing. It is indicated for cough caused by wind-cold, accompanied by thin, clear sputum and severe cough with wheezing. It is also used for chronic bronchitis and upper respiratory tract infections presenting with the same symptoms.

Mechanism: The formula contains traditional Chinese medicinal ingredients including aster root, tangerine red, platycodon root, common hogfennel root, bitter orange, stemona root, schisandra fruit, dried tangerine peel, dried ginger, schizonepeta, opium poppy capsule extract, licorice, ammonium chloride, and peppermint oil. It is traditionally used to disperse the lung, resolve phlegm, relieve cough, and suppress wheezing.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Take 2 tablets orally three times daily. One course is 7 days; treatment may be continued for 3–5 courses or as directed by a physician.

Time: No specific timing in relation to meals is specified in the approved product labeling.

Instructions for use: Take orally according to the recommended dosage. Avoid smoking, alcohol, and spicy, cold, or greasy foods. Avoid exposure to cold during treatment. Do not use for prolonged periods or exceed the recommended dosage. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days, seek medical attention.

Interaction: If used concomitantly with other medicines, drug interactions may occur. Consult a physician or pharmacist before using other medicines.
