NEVENO® (Levonorgestrel Enteric-coated Tablets) is a Class A over-the-counter emergency contraceptive indicated for women following unprotected intercourse or accidental contraceptive failure. It should be taken within 72 hours after intercourse, with earlier administration preferred.
- Mechanism: Levonorgestrel is a progestin that primarily inhibits or delays ovulation and increases cervical mucus viscosity, thereby reducing the likelihood of fertilization.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Take 1 tablet orally within 72 hours after intercourse. The sooner it is taken, the better the contraceptive effect. It may be taken at any time during the menstrual cycle.
Time: Take as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure, within 72 hours.
Instructions for use: Swallow the enteric-coated tablet whole; do not chew or crush. If vomiting occurs within 2 hours and the tablet is found in the vomitus, take another tablet promptly. DanMei® is intended for emergency contraception only and should not be used as a regular contraceptive method. Use reliable contraception until the next menstrual period.
Interaction: Concomitant use with certain medicines, including phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampicin, carbamazepine, some macrolide antibiotics, azole antifungals, cimetidine, and certain antiviral medicines, may affect contraceptive efficacy. Consult a physician or pharmacist before use.
Side effects: Possible adverse reactions include menstrual changes, mild nausea or vomiting, breast tenderness, headache, dizziness, fatigue, and irregular uterine bleeding.
