Acetylcysteine granules ( Fluimucil®/HaiAnRui®) are an oral OTC respiratory medicine to thin sputum and help expectoration for cough with sticky sputum.
- Mechanism: It breaks disulfide bonds in mucus to lower sputum viscosity and help phlegm discharge.
- Drug class: Mucolytic agent
- Clinical use: For respiratory disorders with tenacious sputum difficult to cough up.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Oral. Children aged 2 years and above: 1 sachet each time, 2-3 times daily.
Time: Take after meals.
Instructions for use: Dissolve the granule in warm water and take orally.
Interaction: Do not use together with antitussives; separate administration by 2 hours if used with antibiotics; incompatible with metal and rubber materials.
Side effects: Mild gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea, vomiting; occasional rash and itching allergic reactions.
Important Notice
- This medicine is used for expectoration only and is not suitable for dry cough without phlegm.
- Patients with asthma must use this product under medical supervision. Stop taking it immediately if bronchospasm occurs.
- If symptoms do not improve after 7 days of medication, please consult a doctor.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
