 Indication & Scope

Everolimus Tablets (Afinitor®) is selective mTOR inhibitor. It blocks mTOR serine/threonine kinase pathway, inhibits tumor cell proliferation, angiogenesis and glucose metabolism, slows tumor progression for multiple solid tumors and TSC-related benign lesions.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Advanced RCC / advanced breast cancer / progressive pNET: 10mg once daily continuous oral administration; TSC-related SEGA / renal angiomyolipoma: Initial dose 4.5mg/m² once daily, adjust based on blood trough concentration

 

Time: Take at the same time every day, consistently with or without food, swallow whole without crushing/chewing

 

Interaction: Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors significantly increase everolimus exposure; strong CYP3A4 inducers reduce efficacy, avoid concomitant use

 

Side effects: Stomatitis, fatigue, diarrhea, rash, infections, hyperlipidemia; severe risks: interstitial lung disease, severe infection, oral ulceration, myelosuppression

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
