TXTY® Potassium Permanganate Tablets for External Use treats acute dermatitis and acute eczema with secondary infection; cleans and flushes of small-area skin ulcers.
- Mechanism: Potassium permanganate is a strong oxidant. After dissolving in water, it releases new ecological oxygen, which oxidizes and denatures bacterial and fungal proteins, destroys microbial structure, and achieves powerful bactericidal, anti-inflammatory and debridement effects on infected skin lesions.
- Drug class: Topical strong oxidizing disinfectant and antiseptic.
- Clinical use: Clinically used for local anti-infection care of acute inflammatory skin diseases such as dermatitis and eczema with secondary bacterial infection, as well as cleaning and disinfection of small-area skin ulcer wounds.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Dissolve the tablet in warm water to prepare dilute solution for wet compress or wound cleaning, configure according to skin lesion area and infection degree.
Time: Wet compress 2-3 times a day, 10-15 minutes each time; wound cleaning can be performed after daily skin cleaning.
Instructions for use: For external use only, strictly prohibit oral administration. Must be diluted with water before use; high concentration solution will cause skin corrosion and burns. Avoid contact with eyes and mucosal tissues.
Interaction: Reacts with reducing substances such as organic matter and iodide, leading to reduced disinfection effect and precipitation. No combined use with reducing disinfectants.
Side effects: High concentration solution use will cause skin redness, blistering, corrosion and burning damage. Long-term frequent use may lead to local skin dryness and keratinization.
