 Indication & Scope

Mycophenolate Mofetil is converted to mycophenolic acid in vivo, which inhibits purine synthesis and suppresses T and B lymphocyte proliferation. It selectively blocks immune cell reproduction to reduce transplant rejection reaction.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Oral administration, swallowed whole with water, can be taken with or without food.

 

Time: For adult kidney transplant patients: 2 capsules twice daily (1g twice daily), taken morning and evening.

 

Instructions for use: Regular complete blood count monitoring is required throughout treatment. Effective contraception must be adopted for men and women during medication and within 6 weeks after discontinuation.

 

Interaction: Antacids containing magnesium/aluminum reduce absorption; avoid combined use. Monitor blood cell counts when combined with other immunosuppressants.

 

Side effects: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, leukopenia, infection susceptibility increase.
