Indication & Scope
Trazodone Hydrochloride acts as 5-HT2A antagonist and weak 5-HT reuptake inhibitor to balance central serotonin levels, exerting antidepressant, anxiolytic and mild hypnotic effects. It has low anticholinergic activity and less sexual side effects compared with SSRIs.

How to use ?
Recommended Dose: Adults only, take orally after dinner before bedtime. Initial dose 75–150mg once daily; max 450mg daily (divided twice). Inpatients up to 600mg daily. Elderly start at ≤100mg daily, max 300mg daily.
Time: Postprandial administration to reduce dizziness and nausea; tablets can be split along score lines.
Interaction: Alcohol, barbiturates and CNS depressants enhance sedation; CYP3A4 inhibitors raise trazodone plasma concentration; QT-prolonging drugs increase arrhythmia risk. Discontinue MAOIs for 14 days before use.
Side effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, orthostatic hypotension, headache.
Important Notice
This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
