How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Insert one suppository deeply into the vagina once daily at bedtime for 7 consecutive days. A shorter intensive regimen may be prescribed under medical guidance.

Time: Use at bedtime to allow the suppository to remain in place overnight. Continue treatment during menstruation unless otherwise instructed.

Instructions for use: Wash your hands before and after administration. Insert the suppository deeply into the vagina while lying down. Complete the full treatment course, even if symptoms improve earlier. Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment, and partners with symptoms should seek medical evaluation.

Interaction: Miconazole may damage latex condoms and diaphragms, reducing their contraceptive effectiveness. Patients taking warfarin, oral hypoglycemic agents, or phenytoin should consult a healthcare professional, as systemic absorption, although minimal, may increase the effects of these medicines.

Side effects: Mild vaginal burning, irritation, itching, pelvic discomfort, or abdominal cramps may occur, particularly during the first few days of treatment. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash, urticaria, swelling, or angioedema may occur.
