LiangJia® (Compound Povidone Iodine Liniment) is an over-the-counter topical medicine indicated for tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea capitis, tinea versicolor, tinea manuum, and onychomycosis, including cases complicated by bacterial infection. It may also be used for boils, insect bites, and hyperhidrosis of the hands and feet.

Mechanism: Povidone-iodine gradually releases iodine and provides broad antimicrobial activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Aspirin is converted to salicylic acid, which helps reduce inflammation and itching, soften keratin, and enhance topical penetration.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Apply to the affected area 1–2 times daily after cleaning the area.

Time: For tinea infections, use for 5–14 days. For onychomycosis, soften and file the affected nail before application and continue until new nail grows out, generally requiring more than 2 months.

Instructions for use: For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Stop use and wash the area if burning or redness occurs.

Interaction: Do not use together with sodium thiosulfate or mercurochrome (red mercurial antiseptic). Consult a physician or pharmacist before combining with other medicines.

Side effects: Occasional skin irritation, such as burning, or allergic reactions such as rash and itching may occur.
