Indication & Scope

Colloidal Bismuth Pectin Capsules (BaiYunShan®) is a gastric mucosal protective agent containing colloidal bismuth pectin. It forms a protective film on the ulcer and gastric mucosa surface, shielding mucosa from gastric acid and irritants, and promotes mucosal repair and ulcer healing. It also has a local bacteriostatic effect against Helicobacter pylori.

Mechanism
It coats the damaged gastric mucosa to form a protective barrier, reduces gastric acid irritation, and accelerates ulcer healing, with mild anti-Helicobacter pylori activity.

How to use ?

Recommended Dose: Oral administration, 3 capsules each time, 4 times daily (before meals and at bedtime); follow doctor’s advice for H. pylori eradication regimens.

Time: Take before meals and at bedtime.

Interaction: Do not take with other bismuth-containing medicines simultaneously; avoid drinking milk, antacids within 2 hours of taking it.

Side effects: Black discoloration of stool (normal), occasional gastrointestinal discomfort; long-term excessive use may cause bismuth accumulation. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if persistent adverse reactions occur.

Important Notice

This product shall only be used for post-exposure rabies prophylaxis by professional medical staff. It must be applied combined with rabies vaccine and injected via wound infiltration plus intramuscular routes as specified. Do not administer intravenously or alter the dosage at will. Hypersensitivity monitoring is required throughout the whole injection process.
